Estimates & Project Details
GETTING STARTED
-
Every project is different. Pricing depends on the furniture’s size, material and construction, how much must be dismantled, the location and access conditions, and whether the piece is staying in the same home or moving to another location.
Once we review your photos and project details, we’ll explain the recommended solution and provide an estimate before scheduling.
-
Please send a clear photo of the entire piece of furniture, along with photos of the doorway, hallway, staircase, elevator or tight turn causing the problem.
We’ll also need the project location, furniture type, approximate size, manufacturer or brand if known, and a brief description of where the piece needs to go.
-
In many cases, yes. Clear photos allow us to evaluate the furniture’s construction and determine how it can be safely taken apart and rebuilt.
Custom, antique or unusual pieces may require additional information, measurements or a conversation with one of our specialists before we can provide an accurate estimate.
-
Our estimate is based on the photos, access information and project details provided to us. If the furniture or site conditions are materially different from what was described, we’ll explain the situation before performing any additional work.
Our goal is to give you clear information upfront so there are no unexpected surprises.
OUR SPECIALTY
Furniture Disassembly & Reassembly
-
We work with upholstered and leather sofas, sectionals, sleeper sofas, beds, headboards, armoires, wardrobes, dressers, entertainment centers, desks, custom furniture and many other oversized pieces.
Because every piece is constructed differently, we review the furniture before confirming the best approach.
-
Our craftsmen carefully evaluate the furniture and dismantle only what is necessary to move it safely through the restricted space.
Depending on the piece, this may involve carefully opening upholstery or removing trim to access the internal frame. Once the furniture is in position, we rebuild the frame and professionally restore the upholstery, leather and trim.
-
No. Our goal is for the finished piece to look exactly as it did before the work began.
The frame is rebuilt internally, and the exterior upholstery, leather and trim are carefully restored so the completed work is not visible during normal use.
-
When furniture is professionally disassembled and rebuilt, it should remain structurally secure. Our craftsmen restore the frame carefully and may reinforce internal areas when appropriate.
We use professional techniques developed through decades of hands-on furniture construction, disassembly and reassembly experience.
